Gilberto Dacio made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when 孔斌斐 sent off a good shot on target. Ricardo Chago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Villacanes in the 16th minute of play forced Itacaruaré FC's goalkeeper Gilberto Dacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Dacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Villacanes in the 16th minute of play. Gilberto Dacio made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when 孔斌斐 sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the match, Marciano Garcia notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Sangre Roja FC's Ricardo Chago. Ricardo Chago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ricardo Chago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Garcia in the 27th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Candido Platon during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Candido Platon hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Marciano Garcia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Chago having to make a save. Itacaruaré FC's Gilberto Dacio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Itacaruaré FC from getting a goal against them. Sangre Roja FC's Ricardo Chago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Platon in the 41st minute of play. Gilberto Dacio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Camillo Scrima's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. With a little luck, Itacaruaré FC's Gilberto Dacio got control of the ball when 孔斌斐 tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute, 孔斌斐 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilberto Dacio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victoriano Villacanes to make the kick off. Gilberto Dacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Villacanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marciano Garcia in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Chago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 75 minutes into the match, Bernardino Ramone had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilberto Dacio. Itacaruaré FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardino Ramone was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Itacaruaré FC's Patricio Enaut was substituted for Kimmo Saastamoinen. Gilberto Dacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Villacanes in the 91st minute of play. 孔斌斐 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 95 minutes into the game, when Felipe Peña put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Sangre Roja FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Itacaruaré FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Ricardo Chago, was totally fooled by Itacaruaré FC's Domingos Bernat, who 96 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Despite being the better team, Sangre Roja FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
