Prospero Shepherd was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Geronimo Ioritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Shepherd having to interfere. A collision led to QUASAR AZULGRANA getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Melquiades Laurgain hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, QUASAR AZULGRANA's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Kepa came free, but Prospero Shepherd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Talar were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after QUASAR AZULGRANA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lázaro Jatsu took the corner. Eriberto Lizer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Urbano Oto came out and tried to block the shot, but Eriberto Lizer slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 27th minute. QUASAR AZULGRANA's Prospero Shepherd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Ioritz in the 30th minute of play. After 32 minutes QUASAR AZULGRANA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lázaro Jatsu who took care of the corner kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Kepa was the one to do the kick off. Prospero Shepherd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Ioritz in the 53rd minute of the match. Prospero Shepherd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iacob Simionescu in the 54th minute. Lázaro Jatsu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. El Talar made a substitution. QUASAR AZULGRANA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herminio Guillen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Prospero Shepherd made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Francisco Kepa charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Kepa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute Herminio Guillen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Shepherd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of El Talar booed when QUASAR AZULGRANA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Lizer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th match minute, QUASAR AZULGRANA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Lizer to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as El Talar's Lázaro Jatsu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Prospero Shepherd. That made the score 2-6 after 98 minutes of play. When the match was over El Talar could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than QUASAR AZULGRANA throughout the match.
