East Tokyo United's Marcelo Toribio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Guerau in the 13th minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Raimundo Guerau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC 1986 Vinalito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Guerau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute Raimundo Guerau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Toribio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Marciano Valente managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC 1986 Vinalito's supporters rose to their feet, but Marciano Valente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Toribio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 32 played minutes East Tokyo United got a freekick which was hit by Armando Nicolini. 34 minutes into the match, East Tokyo United's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Valente came free, but Marcelo Toribio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute of the match Ulysses Leme shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richmond De Worteleere showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Marciano Valente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Marcelo Toribio made a huge save. In the 54thth minute of the game Martin Bonetti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC 1986 Vinalito's Richmond De Worteleere was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rodrigo Jax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo Toribio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Abeita went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. East Tokyo United's Arsenio Tibalt was substituted for Armando Nicolini. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Guerau got free with Marcelo Toribio in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute Raimundo Guerau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Toribio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Toribio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Jax went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score.
