Isidro Millano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Orlando Gatti having to interfere. Javier Florian was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, La Palmira F.C's Romulo Malvin got a free kick in the 66th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Genaro Elivareo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Javier Florian. That made the score 1-9 in the 67 minute of play. After 70 played minutes Abuba Akotonon FC got a freekick which was hit by Vânderson Barbosa. Cecilio Tristan might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier Florian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cecilio Tristan ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the match, La Palmira F.C's goalkeeper Javier Florian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cecilio Tristan. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Enol couldn't finish the play.
