Abuba Akotonon FC's Emanuel Aurre was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sergio Goycochea in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cecilio Tristan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Constantino Eneto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Cecilio Tristan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergio Goycochea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 26 minutes, Pars Kuray managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orozcos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pars Kuray was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Orlando Gatti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pars Kuray in the 27th minute. In the 30th match minute, Abuba Akotonon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Elivareo to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pars Kuray got free with Hugo Orlando Gatti in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute of the match, Anthony Hopkins got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hugo Orlando Gatti was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 39th minute, Pars Kuray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Cecilio Tristan made a precise shot to the right of Sergio Goycochea. Orozcos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After some careless play in the Abuba Akotonon FC defense, Pars Kuray kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti. The Abuba Akotonon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Orlando Gatti should have stopped the shot. 48 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Hopkins came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Orozcos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Abuba Akotonon FC were winning 1-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pars Kuray to make the kick off. Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Hopkins in the 53rd minute of play. Cecilio Tristan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Sergio Goycochea made a huge save. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pars Kuray in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of Abuba Akotonon FC booed when Orozcos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Gonza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Orozcos's Paulo Dybala nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Cecilio Tristan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Sergio Goycochea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cecilio Tristan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Goycochea having to interfere. Rodrigo De Paul hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pars Kuray came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cecilio Tristan got free with Sergio Goycochea in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Dybala in the 82nd minute of the match. Orozcos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Cecilio Tristan scored to the left of an out of position Sergio Goycochea, making the score, 2-4. Abuba Akotonon FC's Emiliano Enol was substituted for Cecilio Tristan. In the 89th minute, Orozcos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emiliano Enol fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Emiliano Enol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abuba Akotonon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Enol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Goycochea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Orozcos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Abuba Akotonon FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Abuba Akotonon FC.
