River Plate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Franciszek Pluciennik scored to the left of an out of position Rene Chale, making the score, 1-0. A hard shot 10 in the game by Franciszek Pluciennik from a close distance when the talented Rene Chale managed to make a qualified save. River Plate's players were relieved. Wladyslaw Mirowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Filipo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Chale came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Turro's Franciszek Pluciennik. But to his dismay, Franciszek Pluciennik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 21st minute, Franciszek Pluciennik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Deportivo Turro's Franciszek Pluciennik in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye River Plate's goalie prevented a goal. 29 minutes into the match, Raul Goyo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wladyslaw Mirowski. Franciszek Pluciennik received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rene Chale came out and tried to block the shot, but Franciszek Pluciennik slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 32nd minute. Franciszek Pluciennik's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rene Chale firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Deportivo Turro getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Qi Sheng Chong hit a great ball. Wladyslaw Mirowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Tulio in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Deportivo Turro booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Bide didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franciszek Pluciennik's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rene Chale firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 45 played minutes Al Horford rounded River Plate's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 5-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gregorio Dominguez to make the kick off. Rene Chale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Al Horford, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute, Franciszek Pluciennik made a precise shot to the right of Rene Chale. River Plate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Rene Chale came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Turro's Franciszek Pluciennik. But to his dismay, Franciszek Pluciennik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Al Horford might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Chale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Al Horford ran back to his position shaking his head. Rene Chale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franciszek Pluciennik in the 63rd minute of the match. Wladyslaw Mirowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Goyo in the 64th minute of play. River Plate's Rene Chale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Al Horford in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Franciszek Pluciennik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deportivo Turro made a substitution. Wilton Queirós replaced Pedrinho Moreira. Franciszek Pluciennik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rene Chale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind River Plate's goalkeeper Rene Chale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, River Plate's Artemio Filipo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wladyslaw Mirowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 8-1 when Franciszek Pluciennik sped through River Plate's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rene Chale. 84 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Al Horford came free, but Rene Chale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Fix blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Chale having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raul Goyo got free with Wladyslaw Mirowski in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ezequiel Nicholas hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Deportivo Turro had won after a very even match.
