Hernan Emmanuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Vytautas Gudonis made a huge save. United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Modesto Peirano in the 45th minute. United's Modesto Peirano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vytautas Gudonis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Onofre to strike the kick off in the second half. Maicon Toledo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Sabahattin Erten skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tobias Platon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sabahattin Erten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Platon in the 78th minute of play forced United's goalkeeper Sabahattin Erten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Monster Proyect's zone, Zlatan Gigant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vytautas Gudonis came out of the goal and Zlatan Gigant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Tobias Platon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monster Proyect's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Platon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabahattin Erten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tobias Platon came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sabahattin Erten could save by the left post. United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
