In the 14th minute Valentin Sindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Onofre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Sebastian Xabier made a huge save. In the 21st minute, Jeronimo Errapel made a precise shot to the right of Nunez Distiratsu. C.A. Independiente's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Nunez Distiratsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Errapel, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. C.A. Independiente's Nunez Distiratsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Errapel in the 30th minute of play. Ruben Belasko kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bonifacio Arias in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nunez Distiratsu saved C.A. Independiente from getting behind. Sebastian Xabier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Onofre, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 41st minute Augusto Procopio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nunez Distiratsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Arias in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeronimo Errapel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, C.A. Independiente's Nunez Distiratsu got control of the ball when Augusto Procopio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nunez Distiratsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Procopio in the 54th minute of play. Sebastian Xabier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Onofre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pablo Gaztea hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The supporters of C.A. Independiente booed when SOUTH THUNDER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Sindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 played minutes C.A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Julian Fagildo. Nunez Distiratsu was a little too slow when Augusto Procopio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-2. Lorenzo Ledesma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nunez Distiratsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Procopio, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Nunez Distiratsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Arias in the 85th minute of play. Augusto Procopio scored 0-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nunez Distiratsu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benjamin Onofre hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Nunez Distiratsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Errapel, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. A collision led to C.A. Independiente getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Bruno Tulio hit a great ball. SOUTH THUNDER's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
