Miro Rohrer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Errapel in the 35th minute of the match. 41 minutes in the game, Apolo Paez fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sebastian Xabier having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Ihazintu came free, but Sebastian Xabier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Apolo Paez to strike the kick off in the second half. Dorian Moraes might have been able to make a better finish in the 50th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Xabier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
