The audience thought a goal was coming when Acun Timuroz got free with Godfredo Obano in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Feliciano Itzaina managed to get in a good position for a shot. ALEXANDRIA's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliciano Itzaina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Ricart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Enrique Ilazki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, TEMPLE F.C.'s Baskın Nihat dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 44 minutes into the game, Hugo Spadaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrique Ilazki made a kick off. In the 55th minute of the match, Enrique Ilazki got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rodolfo Ricart was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. ALEXANDRIA's Godfredo Obano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acun Timuroz in the 58th minute of play. Enrique Ilazki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Ricart having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gervasio Chorache got free with Rodolfo Ricart in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Gonzales in the 63rd minute of play forced ALEXANDRIA's goalkeeper Godfredo Obano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Gervasio Chorache's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodolfo Ricart was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. The corner led ALEXANDRIA's Feliciano Itzaina to fire away a dangerous shot which Rodolfo Ricart despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rodolfo Ricart stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franco Orozco's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Franco Orozco sped through TEMPLE F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodolfo Ricart.
