MURO DE PIEDRA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Polybos Makricosta ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Club Social San Cristobal's Polybos Makricosta to fire away a dangerous shot which Mariano Gonzalez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Boatca could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Mariano Gonzalez however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Boatca got free with Mariano Gonzalez in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mariano Gonzalez made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Daniel Boatca sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the match, Club Social San Cristobal's Polybos Makricosta broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With his leg Mariano Gonzalez managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Club Social San Cristobal's Daniel Boatca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ferruccio Angelici kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Sal was the one to do the kick off.
