The audience thought a goal was coming when Bolo Bolaño got free with Daniel Hanot in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 27 played minutes Furia Calamar got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Gipuzkoa. If Bolo Bolaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Consejo del Mate's Julio Kemen got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Consejo del Mate's Bolo Bolaño in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Furia Calamar's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Gagriel in the 37th minute of play forced Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fagildo Pamanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Hanot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bolo Bolaño's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 45th match minute, Consejo del Mate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Zambujal to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Furia Calamar's Hipolito Manni was substituted for Benicio Gipuzkoa. Consejo del Mate's Javier Betadur was substituted for Cayetano Sagrario. After 52 played minutes Furia Calamar got a freekick which was hit by Gong Ning Hui. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Furia Calamar's goalkeeper Daniel Hanot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Hugo Orlando Gatti successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 58 minutes, Shen Jun Ao made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Hanot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Kemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Consejo del Mate's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fagildo Pamanes in the 62nd minute. The corner led Consejo del Mate's Fagildo Pamanes to fire away a dangerous shot which Daniel Hanot despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 66 played minutes Consejo del Mate got a freekick which was hit by Bolo Bolaño. Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Consejo del Mate from getting a goal against them. Daniel Hanot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bolo Bolaño in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Furia Calamar booed when Consejo del Mate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fagildo Pamanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Fagildo Pamanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shen Jun Ao received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Indar in the 86th minute of play forced Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Manni came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Furia Calamar players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
