CARP2020 were furious when Domingo Neto was red carded, 3 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 3rd minute, one of CARP2020:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CARP2020. In the 15th match minute, CARP2020 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Tolino to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Gioiese Calcio booed when CARP2020 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Tolino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, CARP2020's goalkeeper Casimiro Estefan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abelardo Fonso. Lisandro Bastiaro spun around in front of the goal 18 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Gioiese Calcio's goal. Roberto Eskuins short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Casimiro Estefan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Gioiese Calcio's Isaias Urbes got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Frederik in the 23rd minute of play forced Gioiese Calcio's goalkeeper Söncke Gärtner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Eskuin got free with Casimiro Estefan in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute of the match Gioiese Calcio got a corner. CARP2020's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abelardo Fonso ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Arturo Admon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Casimiro Estefan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by CARP2020's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abelardo Fonso was slow to take the kick. During this time Gioiese Calcio's players had a chance to rest. Gioiese Calcio's Abelardo Fonso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Casimiro Estefan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Casimiro Estefan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Eskuin in the 29th minute of play. Arturo Admon kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. If Lisandro Bastiaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casimiro Estefan made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Roberto Eskuin sent off a good shot on target. Söncke Gärtner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Bastiaro in the 39th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Gioiese Calcio got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Savier. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Casimiro Estefan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Söncke Gärtner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Frederik in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 played minutes Gioiese Calcio got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Igon. Casimiro Estefan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Eskuin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gioiese Calcio's Söncke Gärtner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Bastiaro in the 64th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Eskuin in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casimiro Estefan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gioiese Calcio were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after CARP2020's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abelardo Fonso took the corner. 77 minutes into the match, Gioiese Calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Frederik came free, but Söncke Gärtner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casimiro Estefan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maarek Ratas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, CARP2020's goal looked a bit too open when Maarek Ratas came free, but Casimiro Estefan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the CARP2020 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gioiese Calcio.
