Torsten Bäcklin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute Torsten Bäcklin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Czeslaw Zahemski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute Guillermo Ulizes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Czeslaw Zahemski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Torsten Bäcklin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Czeslaw Zahemski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mr.Magoo's Torsten Bäcklin got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ceferino Berto hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Lyuben Asparuhov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gómez Cruzado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Gartzea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Czeslaw Zahemski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torsten Bäcklin went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the game, Torsten Bäcklin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Czeslaw Zahemski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A nice corner shot did that Lucjan Skoroda got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roman Gartzea quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Y va el tercero players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mr.Magoo were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gómez Cruzado to make the kick off. Gómez Cruzado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Gartzea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gómez Cruzado in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gómez Cruzado in the 58th minute of play forced Mr.Magoo's goalkeeper Roman Gartzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mr.Magoo's Roman Gartzea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gómez Cruzado in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, Y va el tercero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Rioja to maneuver through the defense. Severino Rioja hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Y va el tercero's goalkeeper Czeslaw Zahemski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillermo Ulizes. Roman Gartzea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gómez Cruzado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torsten Bäcklin got free with Czeslaw Zahemski in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Torsten Bäcklin scored 0-5 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Czeslaw Zahemski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gómez Cruzado in the 80th minute of play forced Mr.Magoo's goalkeeper Roman Gartzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Czeslaw Zahemski made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Torsten Bäcklin sent off a good shot on target. Y va el tercero's Gómez Cruzado got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gonzalo Mincho hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Ange Dubuc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mr.Magoo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
