In the 69th match minute, Garompa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chi-Chi Branca to maneuver through the defense. Chi-Chi Branca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidio Cortez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Mariano Martxel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Angel Bero made a huge save. 97 minutes into the match, Mariano Martxel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angel Bero. Garompa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Martxel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. When the match was over BROLY FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Garompa throughout the match.
