Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Demesio in the 21st minute of play. Andréas Hasselqvist took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elpidio Txomin. Elpidio Txomin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Elpidio Txomin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Lordi in the 32nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Santa Margarita's Gerardo Lordi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elpidio Txomin. That made the score 2-0 after 33 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Witomir Pisarczyk got free with Elpidio Txomin in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Antonio Vespucio Liberti getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Loid Verduyckt hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the game, Gerardo Lordi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elpidio Txomin. Gerardo Lordi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Epifanio Demesio hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The supporters of Antonio Vespucio Liberti booed when Santa Margarita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witomir Pisarczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gualterio Faron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Pontus Nordström made a huge save. Elpidio Txomin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Lordi in the 66th minute of the match. Santa Margarita made a substitution. Klaus Mohammadi replaced Gerardo Lordi. After 70 minutes Antonio Vespucio Liberti's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eduardo De Francesco who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Santa Margarita's corner Eduardo De Francesco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Elpidio Txomin quite easily take care of the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Demesio came free, but Pontus Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Vespucio Liberti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Icardi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 94th minute, when Antonio Vespucio Liberti's Gualterio Faron after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Pontus Nordström in Santa Margarita's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. 97 minutes into the game, Klaus Mohammadi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Elpidio Txomin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Santa Margarita's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
