Victorino Timo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Elazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Filiberto Elazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Victorino Timo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Defensores de V.G.Galvez! booed when Club Estudiantes de Mza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Jesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Defensores de V.G.Galvez!'s goalkeeper Norberto Orti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Defensores de V.G.Galvez!'s Norberto Orti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Cvitanich in the 20th minute of play. Filiberto Elazar in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Victorino Timo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Defensores de V.G.Galvez!'s Generoso Fidencio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Victorino Timo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Defensores de V.G.Galvez! defense, Justino Amaya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Orti. Defensores de V.G.Galvez!'s Filiberto Elazar got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Defensores de V.G.Galvez!'s Norberto Orti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Amaya in the 38th minute of play. Manuel Jatsu hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Dario Cvitanich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Orti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After a rather tough play, Defensores de V.G.Galvez!'s Desiderio Kimetz got a free kick in the 50th minute. Defensores de V.G.Galvez!'s Norberto Orti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Cvitanich in the 55th minute of play. Eloy Ur kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Defensores de V.G.Galvez!'s goalkeeper Norberto Orti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Cvitanich. Eloy Ur kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 72nd minute of the match Sebastian Farias sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norberto Orti skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Jatsu in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victorino Timo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Defensores de V.G.Galvez!'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Generoso Fidencio in the 79th minute. A nice corner shot did that Damian Tulio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Victorino Timo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 81st match minute, Club Estudiantes de Mza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adilson Quintal to maneuver through the defense. Adilson Quintal hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. When Defensores de V.G.Galvez!'s Manuel Jatsu in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Estudiantes de Mza's goalie prevented a goal. Defensores de V.G.Galvez!'s Norberto Orti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Cvitanich in the 88th minute of play. Damian Tulio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Timo having to interfere. When Damian Tulio came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Defensores de V.G.Galvez! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Tulio couldn't finish the play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
