After a defensive mix-up in Indios Latinos's zone, Fernan Jayvier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Santikurtz came out of the goal and Fernan Jayvier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 22nd play minutes Justino Arotza shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Tomas Santikurtz and just under the crossbar into goal. Justino Arotza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justino Arotza took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomas Santikurtz. Tomas Santikurtz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The audience was convinced that Fernan Jayvier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Santikurtz was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. If Fernan Jayvier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Indios Latinos's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Arotza came free, but Tomas Santikurtz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justino Arotza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomas Santikurtz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Arotza, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Feliberto Cordairo struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Tassos Kefalas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Indios Latinos. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Neymar Mbappè stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Neymar Mbappè who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fortuna's Tassos Kefalas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Fortuna defense, Neymar Mbappè kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tassos Kefalas. The Fortuna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tassos Kefalas should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute Neymar Mbappè shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tassos Kefalas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tassos Kefalas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Mino in the 69th minute of play. Tomas Santikurtz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Arotza in the 75th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, Indios Latinos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Mino to maneuver through the defense. Fortuna's Justino Arotza got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Indios Latinos's Tomas Santikurtz got control of the ball when Julian Paublo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Fortuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quentin Miller to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Lordi hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Neymar Mbappè managed to get in a good position for a shot. Indios Latinos's supporters rose to their feet, but Neymar Mbappè was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tassos Kefalas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
