Dan Benet ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Gheorghe Ecobescu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 24 minutes into the match, Cieneguita's goalkeeper Saverio Gonchan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gheorghe Ecobescu. Cristian Ur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abel Orlan having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Gorgory's Enzo Elizardo got a free kick in the 27th minute. After some careless play in the Gorgory defense, Cristian Ur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Orlan. The Gorgory fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Orlan should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute Elroy Snijders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Gonchan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Gorgory booed when Cieneguita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Llorienzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elroy Snijders in the 34th minute of play forced Cieneguita's goalkeeper Saverio Gonchan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Higinio Valiente got free with Saverio Gonchan in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute, Evelio Donzel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rene Erruki fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cieneguita's protests and gave Rene Erruki a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes Cieneguita got a freekick which was hit by Rene Erruki. Dan Benet fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 46th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Gorgory's Donatello Caseres was substituted for Basilio Cordairo. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Manex was the one to do the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Elroy Snijders who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cieneguita's Saverio Gonchan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gorgory were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Cieneguita's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dan Benet took the corner. A hard shot 59 in the game by Cristian Ur from a close distance when the talented Abel Orlan managed to make a qualified save. Gorgory's players were relieved. In the 63rd minute, Cristian Ur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Cieneguita booed when Gorgory was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Elizardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enzo Elizardo hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Pedro Llorienzo's late challenge caught a Gorgory's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Llorienzo helped the player get up and apologised. Gorgory's Oscar Arevalo was substituted for Elroy Snijders. Saverio Gonchan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Arevalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Cieneguita's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Arevalo came free, but Saverio Gonchan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cieneguita had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
