In the 12th minute Ubaldo Uzuri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelito Soret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Amapola's Fidel Froila slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcelito Soret. That made the score 2-0 after 13 minutes of play. Marcelito Soret showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Segio in the 16th minute of the match. Marcelito Soret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Segio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Amapola's Camilo Segio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After some careless play in the Davoneta Xeneize defense, Camilo Segio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelito Soret. The Davoneta Xeneize fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelito Soret should have stopped the shot. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Solustiano in the 26th minute of the match. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Solustiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. With an all-out effort, Amapola's Marcelito Soret threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ubaldo Uzuri, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 47th minute of the match Amapola got a corner. Davoneta Xeneize's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Angel Berart ran over to the corner to take the kick. Amapola's Angel Berart was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcelito Soret in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacobo Solustiano to make the kick off. Cosme Janpier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Hugo Orlando Gatti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Orlando Gatti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelito Soret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Segio, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Davoneta Xeneize's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Froila came free, but Marcelito Soret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Muc in the 96th minute of play forced Davoneta Xeneize's goalkeeper Marcelito Soret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
