Palma AFC's Vinicio Romelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jones Castray in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Fioravanti in the 20th minute of play forced Palma AFC's goalkeeper Vinicio Romelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinicio Romelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Fioravanti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vinicio Romelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Laurentzi in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Palma AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eugenio Fioravanti was slow to take the kick. During this time El Baile de la Gambeta FC's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of El Baile de la Gambeta FC booed when Palma AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Min didn't get a good kick on the ball.
