Bernardo Salbatores short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Camilo Tome to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Duarte de Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Petrigai, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Victor Paskal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Ituzaingó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Paskal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute Dionisio Sidoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hermengildo Janpier fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PaNatHinaiKos Cordobes FC's protests and gave Hermengildo Janpier a yellow card for diving instead. Club Atlético Ituzaingó's Paolo Marino was substituted for Clodoveo Sugoi.
