In the 6th match minute, Yaso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Izotz to maneuver through the defense. Honorato Laurendi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Axelsson having to make a save. Gaby Batistuta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Axelsson having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Leopoldo Behe in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Yaso's Felix Maju. When Gualterio Nesto came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the FRaSCu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualterio Nesto couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Mendebal got free with Salvador Virila in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute, Felix Maju hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FRaSCu FC's Alex Axelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Tadzio in the 38th minute of play. Leopoldo Behe kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonçalo Pádua to make the kick off. Gualterio Nesto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salvador Virila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to FRaSCu FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Gualterio Nesto hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thiago Gómez during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FRaSCu FC booed when Yaso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Gómez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Honorio Tadzio in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Axelsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute Claudio Mendebal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Virila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Pádua in the 75th minute of play forced Yaso's goalkeeper Salvador Virila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilbert Chojnacki hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Alex Axelsson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Christian Uhin. Yaso were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after FRaSCu FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Christian Uhin took the corner. The supporters of FRaSCu FC booed when Yaso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Gómez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Yaso's zone, Gualterio Nesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador Virila came out of the goal and Gualterio Nesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FRaSCu FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
