Elias Jordy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Tuste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quimeras Jrs.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sebastean Battaglia in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Lennartsson in the 24th minute of play forced LOS ROSARINOS ESTUDIANTIL's goalkeeper Honorato Peruanton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomiro Fresco's late challenge caught a Quimeras Jrs.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 30thth minute of the game Bo Lennartsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LOS ROSARINOS ESTUDIANTIL's Honorato Peruanton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Müfit Özgen in the 33rd minute of play forced Quimeras Jrs.'s goalkeeper Elias Jordy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bo Lennartsson in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorato Peruanton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 44 minutes, Bo Lennartsson made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. LOS ROSARINOS ESTUDIANTIL's Honorato Peruanton tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Quimeras Jrs. defense, Baldomiro Fresco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elias Jordy. The Quimeras Jrs. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Jordy should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Bo Lennartsson made the kick off in the second half. Orlando Maiorga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind LOS ROSARINOS ESTUDIANTIL's goalkeeper Honorato Peruanton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Orlando Maiorga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute Bo Lennartsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Peruanton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute Rodolfo Tuste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Jordy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, LOS ROSARINOS ESTUDIANTIL's Elias Jordy threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Baldomiro Fresco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Orlando Maiorga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute.
