Spectators: 7802 (Terracing: 5853, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 155) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aldo Argoitz kicked off to start the match. Casimiro Olivar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Vidal in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Frederico in the 7th minute of play forced Imperio Académico's goalkeeper Adrian Clis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lunatic FC were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Imperio Académico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aldo Argoitz took the corner. Claudio Veremundo made a great header on Lunatic FC's corner, it was just that Imperio Académico's Adrian Clis managed to reach the ball for a save. Ismael Jerrold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Olivar having to interfere. Lunatic FC's Casimiro Olivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Jerrold in the 13th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Adrian Clis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Imperio Académico's Charilaos Bogdanos got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Imperio Académico's Ismael Jerrold in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lunatic FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 27th match minute, Imperio Académico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Llorienzo to maneuver through the defense. Aldo Argoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Clis having to interfere. Casimiro Olivar came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Imperio Académico's Hilario Tab. But to his dismay, Hilario Tab quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Adrian Clis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Argoitz in the 43rd minute of play. Adrian Clis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Frederico, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Tymoteusz Lemiesz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Imperio Académico were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th minute Aldo Argoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Clis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Imperio Académico's Ismael Jerrold slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Casimiro Olivar. That made the score 1-3 after 57 minutes of play. The tension between the Imperio Académico and the Lunatic FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Hilario Tab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd match minute, Imperio Académico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Jerrold to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Jerrold got free with Casimiro Olivar in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute, Cosme Frederico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77th play minutes Amador Igon shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Casimiro Olivar and just under the crossbar into goal. Marcelino Quexal struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Casimiro Olivar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Imperio Académico. Adrian Clis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Frederico in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Igon in the 83rd minute of play forced Lunatic FC's goalkeeper Casimiro Olivar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Clis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Lewandowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Imperio Académico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aldo Argoitz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Aldo Argoitz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Imperio Académico's Adrian Clis did a great save. The Imperio Académico supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Imperio Académico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
