Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domingo Urki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Jonathan Joestar managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Sacro Balompié's Miguel Almiron fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jonathan Joestar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Almiron in the 61st minute of play. Paulo Enmanuel took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baltasar Sancho. Baltasar Sancho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Sacro Balompié made a substitution. Luisito Lander replaced Diego Jaunzuria. Sacro Balompié's Isidoro Izel was substituted for Americo Florinio. Jonathan Joestar was a little too slow when Matias Maties got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 1-5. Jonathan Joestar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Almiron, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Jonathan Joestar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Lander in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute Miguel Almiron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Joestar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sacro Balompié played a much better game than Formentera and deserved their victory. The Formentera players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
