Romero FC's Baldomero Birila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Rosario in the 30th minute of play. A hard shot 33 in the game by Eliseo Uhin from a close distance when the talented Martin Cordeal managed to make a qualified save. C. S. D. Pueyrredón's players were relieved. If Sebastian Caine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomero Birila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Beckham Jr, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Baldomero Birila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Rosario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th match minute, C. S. D. Pueyrredón would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
