Mete Gol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mateo Astrada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 4th minute when Emil Kostadinov elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 8 minutes into the game, Maximino Patxi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loki The Cat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Madison the free kick. After 8 played minutes Loki The Cat got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Patxi. In the 9th minute Cristos Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Astrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Loki The Cat's goal looked a bit too open when Ás Ronaldo came free, but Mateo Astrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Ás Ronaldo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateo Astrada was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Ernesto Emmanuel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emil Kostadinov in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Madison's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Kostadinov came free, but Ernesto Emmanuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ás Ronaldo struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Mateo Astrada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madison. The audience was convinced that Ás Ronaldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mateo Astrada was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After 39th play minutes Ás Ronaldo shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Mateo Astrada and just under the crossbar into goal. When Mete Gol came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Madison fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mete Gol couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artemio Cidro made a kick off. Ernesto Emmanuel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Bikendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Loki The Cat's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristos Ponce was slow to take the kick. During this time Madison's players had a chance to rest. Madison's Cristos Ponce was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mateo Astrada in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ernesto Emmanuel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Pereyra in the 56th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes Madison got a freekick which was hit by Bartosz Salamon. Madison's Ernesto Emmanuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Bikendi in the 62nd minute of play. Ernesto Emmanuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Kostadinov in the 64th minute of play. With his leg Mateo Astrada managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Madison's Ás Ronaldo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 70 minutes into the match, Loki The Cat's goalkeeper Mateo Astrada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mete Gol. After 72 minutes Loki The Cat's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristos Ponce who took care of the corner kick. After some careless play in the Madison defense, Artemio Cidro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Emmanuel. The Madison fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Emmanuel should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute, Ás Ronaldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Madison fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. 88 minutes into the match, Loki The Cat's goal looked a bit too open when Ás Ronaldo came free, but Mateo Astrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Madison had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
