Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Santiago Mino kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Arnoldo Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Enaut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 minutes DESTROY's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Saul Felo who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Saul Felo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vicente Enaut quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Santiago Mino came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vicente Enaut could save by the left post. Jay-Jay West's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Joey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute DESTROY were awarded a corner. Saturnino Favila went to the cornerflag to take it. Saturnino Favila made a great header on DESTROY's corner, it was just that Palermo's Alfredo Joey managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santiago Mino got free with Vicente Enaut in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eriberto Cefero hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Vicente Enaut came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Palermo's Arnoldo Medina. But to his dismay, Arnoldo Medina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some careless play in the DESTROY defense, Marcelino Chaime kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Enaut. The DESTROY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Enaut should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute, Saturnino Favila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Enaut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Medina, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jay-Jay West in the 32nd minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Jay-Jay West had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Joey. Palermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jay-Jay West was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Jay-Jay West fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Joey having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, Maximino Gonzalez notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of DESTROY's Vicente Enaut. Vicente Enaut was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miguel Arotza hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the DESTROY defense, Marcelino Chaime kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Enaut. The DESTROY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Enaut should have stopped the shot. Jay-Jay West received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alfredo Joey came out and tried to block the shot, but Jay-Jay West slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 60th minute. Alfredo Joey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jay-Jay West in the 63rd minute. Vicente Enaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Chaime in the 65th minute of the match. Arnoldo Medina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcelino Chaime fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Enaut having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Marcelino Chaime cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Vicente Enaut was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 77 minutes, Arnoldo Medina made it 6-2 with a short kick to the right side. DESTROY's Vicente Enaut tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vicente Enaut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Chaime, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 played minutes DESTROY got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Jakes. After some careless play in the DESTROY defense, Marcelino Chaime kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Enaut. The DESTROY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Enaut should have stopped the shot. Vicente Enaut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Eufemio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnoldo Medina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicente Enaut having to make a save. Palermo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
