After 29 minutes of play, Guansa's Eloy Aznar made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruben Librado was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 34 played minutes Batavia got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Tino. In the 35th minute of the match Ildefonso Arixo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruben Librado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Batavia's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Aznar came free, but Ruben Librado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guansa were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Batavia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ildefonso Arixo took the corner. The corner led to Guansa's Jerzy Banach getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The Batavia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guansa were winning 0-6.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orla Bernskjold to strike the kick off in the second half. If Eloy Aznar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. Guansa played a much better game than Batavia and deserved their victory. The Batavia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
