Inocencio Lizardi was slow to take the kick. During this time Gep FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Gep FC's corner Inocencio Lizardi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eugenio Fidensio quite easily take care of the ball. Inocencio Lizardi came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eugenio Fidensio could save by the left post. Elvio Louis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Fidensio having to interfere. Saul Nesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Astigar in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Astigar in the 72nd minute of play forced Gep FC's goalkeeper Saul Nesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saul Nesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Txomin in the 85th minute of the match. When Ceferino Handi fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gep FC's protests and gave Ceferino Handi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gallo Moron booed when Gep FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Handi didn't get a good kick on the ball.
