In the 8th match minute, Malvinas Argentinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Baleren to maneuver through the defense. Malvinas Argentinas's Ermegildo Baristo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Baladi in the 16th minute of play. If Miguel Ciceron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Cutberto in the 61st minute of play forced Malvinas Argentinas's goalkeeper Ermegildo Baristo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Malvinas Argentinas defense, Eustaquio Baladi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ermegildo Baristo. The Malvinas Argentinas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ermegildo Baristo should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gogo Cutberto in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ermegildo Baristo saved Malvinas Argentinas from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, Miguel Ciceron notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Larrechea AFC's Elias Tono. Elias Tono was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Gogo Cutberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Malvinas Argentinas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Larrechea AFC.
