Tabacal's Rey Maradona got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tabacal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cipriano Aresti ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gervasio Montes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Aresti in the 26th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Paul Gheară left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Boedo Vengo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 36th minute, Norbert Chwalkiewicz made a precise shot to the right of Gervasio Montes. De Boedo Vengo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
