The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Ciobica in the 2nd minute of play forced 1947 FC's goalkeeper Marcelino Nuxila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Racing Positivo's goal looked a bit too open when Goren Baños came free, but Karljohan Viisby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelino Nuxila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Evis in the 6th minute of play. Armando Fasoli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karljohan Viisby having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Goren Baños in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karljohan Viisby saved Racing Positivo from getting behind. If Ignacio Evis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karljohan Viisby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Goren Baños, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 1947 FC's Marcelino Nuxila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save 1947 FC from getting a goal against them. Karljohan Viisby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Baumar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Racing Positivo's Diego Oxarra got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 24 played minutes 1947 FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Baumar. After 25 minutes of play, Racing Positivo's Michael Ciobica made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelino Nuxila was left in no man's land by his defense there! Armando Fasoli succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Rafael Tebaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Marcelino Nuxila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Ciobica, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Fasoli in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karljohan Viisby saved Racing Positivo from getting behind. In the 47th minute Huang Bing Ran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karljohan Viisby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Oxarra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Karljohan Viisby came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by 1947 FC's Huang Bing Ran. But to his dismay, Huang Bing Ran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Goren Baños's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Karljohan Viisby skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Goren Baños could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Karljohan Viisby made a huge save. Karljohan Viisby made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejo Idacio in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Feliciano Maldonado threw the ball into play from the sideline. 1947 FC's Ariel Bonachea quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Feliciano Maldonado made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by 1947 FC's Ariel Bonachea. Karljohan Viisby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huang Bing Ran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute of the match 1947 FC got a corner. Racing Positivo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Huang Bing Ran ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on 1947 FC's corner Huang Bing Ran fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Karljohan Viisby quite easily take care of the ball. After 82 played minutes Racing Positivo got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Tebaldo. The throw-in from Feliciano Maldonado in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by 1947 FC's Ariel Bonachea. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Huang Bing Ran in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karljohan Viisby saved Racing Positivo from getting behind. Xande Hwang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejo Idacio kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Michael Ciobica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Marcelino Nuxila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The 1947 FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 1947 FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
