An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Ciobica in the 4th minute of play forced Sp. Mataderos's goalkeeper Danilo Abeitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Abeitia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Laffitte in the 6th minute of play. After 7 minutes of play, Sp. Mataderos's Victorino Geofredo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karljohan Viisby was left in no man's land by his defense there! Danilo Abeitia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Oxarra in the 10th minute of play. Sp. Mataderos's Danilo Abeitia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Laffitte in the 11th minute of play. Danilo Abeitia made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Michael Ciobica sent off a good shot on target. Karljohan Viisby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Geofredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Geofredo in the 17th minute of play forced Racing Positivo's goalkeeper Karljohan Viisby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karljohan Viisby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Lobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sp. Mataderos booed when Racing Positivo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Evis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute Victorino Geofredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karljohan Viisby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Michael Ciobica recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Danilo Abeitia. Michael Ciobica showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diego Oxarra to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Oxarra in the 53rd minute of play forced Sp. In the 60th minute of the match, Leandro Lobo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Karljohan Viisby saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Leandro Lobo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karljohan Viisby came out and tried to block the shot, but Leandro Lobo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 76th minute. Karljohan Viisby came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Sp. Mataderos's Anier Barbosa. But to his dismay, Anier Barbosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. A collision led to Racing Positivo getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Feliciano Maldonado hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the game, Feliciano Maldonado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Positivo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sp. Mataderos the free kick. Karljohan Viisby had in the 89thth minute some difficulties stopping Anier Barbosa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Ramiro Bautista heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 92 minutes, Danilo Serapio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Positivo and the Sp. Mataderos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Racing Positivo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Serapio to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Sp. Mataderos getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Atilano Nisio hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sp. Mataderos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
