Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nunez Uzuri in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. After 47 played minutes, Defensa y Justicia's Ke Jun Xuan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Justo Ruy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Defensa y Justicia reached it. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nunez Uzuri was the one to do the kick off. Nunez Uzuri had several of the NUMBA's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 67 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Justo Ruy as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, NUMBA's Adan Lauro got a free kick in the 78th minute. Defensa y Justicia made a substitution. Haroldo Javiero replaced Ke Jun Xuan. Adan Lauro kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Nunez Uzuris short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Justo Ruy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bakar Castelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Justo Ruy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adan Lauro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bakar Castelo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Justo Ruy came out and tried to block the shot, but Bakar Castelo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 88th minute. Bakar Castelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Justo Ruy made a huge save. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see NUMBA lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
