The audience was convinced that Diego Oxarra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brian Johnson was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Armando Fasoli's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Karljohan Viisby skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Karljohan Viisby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Fasoli's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Oscar Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Fasoli kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, Racing Positivo's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Fasoli came free, but Karljohan Viisby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karljohan Viisby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Goren Baños, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 54 minutes, Diego Oxarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Positivo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Oxarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Goren Baños had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute of the match 1947 FC got a corner. Racing Positivo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristobal Baumar ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Andrzej Mlekodaj managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to Racing Positivo getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Danilo Serapio hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Racing Positivo defense, Alejo Idacio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karljohan Viisby. The Racing Positivo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karljohan Viisby should have stopped the shot. 1947 FC's Paco Jertec was substituted for Everardo Panpili. A sloppy throw-in by Florencio Procopio in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by 1947 FC's Jonathan Enmanuel. Alejo Idacio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karljohan Viisby read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. 1947 FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristobal Baumar in the 78th minute. 83 minutes into the game, Michael Ciobica recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Brian Johnson. Michael Ciobica showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Michael Ciobica hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute Alejo Idacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karljohan Viisby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 95 minutes, Alejo Idacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1947 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Idacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
