Gaston Eleazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Augusto Cadena in the 4th minute of play. In the 6thth minute of the game Thanos Touboulis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hernandarias's Esteve Rico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Thanos Touboulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Augusto Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Esteve Rico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Los Informaticos A.C.'s Luke Skywalker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esteve Rico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Hernandarias's goal looked a bit too open when Thanos Touboulis came free, but Esteve Rico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Thanos Touboulis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Informaticos A.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, Luke Skywalker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteve Rico. Hernandarias's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luke Skywalker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thanos Touboulis in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteve Rico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute José Augusto Cadena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Eleazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thanos Touboulis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luke Skywalker who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Esteve Rico when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 57th minute Thanos Touboulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Rico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Luke Skywalker could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Esteve Rico however easily saved by the left post. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hernandarias's goalkeeper Esteve Rico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Thanos Touboulis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Esteve Rico. Thanos Touboulis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. After 68 played minutes Los Informaticos A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rene Mino. In the 71st minute, Thanos Touboulis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Informaticos A.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. The supporters of Los Informaticos A.C. booed when Hernandarias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Gilesindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esteve Rico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thanos Touboulis's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After 81 minutes of play, Los Informaticos A.C.'s Thanos Touboulis made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esteve Rico was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th minute, Thanos Touboulis made a precise shot to the right of Esteve Rico. Hernandarias's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Los Informaticos A.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
