Urmet Rammu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lech Biskupiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Urmet Rammu came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Riesgo Cero's Santo Damario. But to his dismay, Santo Damario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. La gallardeta's Urmet Rammu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lech Biskupiak in the 24th minute of play. Eriberto Favila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Vladimirescu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Lech Biskupiak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riesgo Cero's supporters rose to their feet, but Lech Biskupiak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urmet Rammu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Riesgo Cero booed when La gallardeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Eztebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfo Joachim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Vladimirescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. When Albertinho Schmidt fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La gallardeta's protests and gave Albertinho Schmidt a yellow card for diving instead.
