In the 14th minute, Severo Laurgain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the PINCHAGUAL Sport defense, Severo Laurgain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ceferino Niva. The PINCHAGUAL Sport fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ceferino Niva should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Social y Dep. Patagonia booed when PINCHAGUAL Sport was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Lorenzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th match minute, Social y Dep. Patagonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severo Laurgain to maneuver through the defense. Ceferino Niva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Bastia in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Arnaldo Bastia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Niva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severo Laurgain took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ceferino Niva. Ceferino Niva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. PINCHAGUAL Sport's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Social y Dep. Patagonia the free kick. Santo Lorenzo hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match.
