Patagonia's goal looked a bit too open when Laimnesis Kalnarājs came free, but Tobias Faro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Los Informaticos A.C.'s goalkeeper Gaston Eleazar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severo Laurgain. Social y Dep. Patagonia were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Los Informaticos A.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Virgilio Gartzen took the corner. After 11 minutes of play, Social y Dep. Patagonia's Renato Mac Clure made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaston Eleazar was left in no man's land by his defense there! 14 minutes into the match, Social y Dep. Patagonia's goal looked a bit too open when Thanos Touboulis came free, but Tobias Faro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severo Laurgain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Gaston Eleazar made a huge save. After 19 minutes Los Informaticos A.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Virgilio Gartzen who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Los Informaticos A.C. booed when Social y Dep. Patagonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Cordeal didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renato Mac Clure in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaston Eleazar saved Los Informaticos A.C. from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Severo Laurgain kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gaston Eleazar. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. Tobias Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thanos Touboulis in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Pirro in the 31st minute of play forced Social y Dep. Patagonia's goalkeeper Tobias Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justo Quintana hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Luke Skywalker had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Justo Quintana fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Social y Dep. Patagonia's protests and gave Justo Quintana a yellow card for diving instead. Los Informaticos A.C.'s Diogenis Pentaridis was substituted for Luke Skywalker. Justo Quintana kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Thanos Touboulis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Informaticos A.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Social y Dep. Patagonia's Tobias Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Pirro in the 40th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Renato Mac Clure made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Blas Pirro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Social y Dep. Patagonia getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Agustin Cordeal hit a great ball. Thanos Touboulis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Faro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Apolo Enaut scored 3-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaston Eleazar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Severo Laurgain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Gaston Eleazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaston Eleazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Mac Clure in the 63rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thanos Touboulis in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Faro saved Social y Dep. Patagonia from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Social y Dep. Patagonia's goal looked a bit too open when Thanos Touboulis came free, but Tobias Faro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Los Informaticos A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Renato Mac Clure came free, but Gaston Eleazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Social y Dep. Patagonia made a substitution. Ioan Şerban replaced Renato Mac Clure. Social y Dep. Patagonia's Virgilio Gartzen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gaston Eleazar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gaston Eleazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ioan Şerban in the 77th minute of play. Ioan Şerban struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Gaston Eleazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Social y Dep. Patagonia. Tobias Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Pirro in the 86th minute of play. The throw-in from Anier Terciero in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Los Informaticos A.C.'s Victor Arroyo. Blas Pirro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Los Informaticos A.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
