Black StarZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgilio Lawrence was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgilio Lawrence in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Everardo Oxel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Black StarZ's Everardo Oxel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Black StarZ from getting a goal against them. Virgilio Lawrence took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Everardo Oxel. Everardo Oxel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Zacarias Lesardo's late challenge caught a KяαdivÄch3 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacarias Lesardo helped the player get up and apologised. Virgilio Lawrence's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Everardo Oxel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Virgilio Lawrence got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgilio Lawrence got free with Everardo Oxel in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Everardo Oxel was a little too slow when Virgilio Lawrence got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 3-1. 34 minutes into the match, Black StarZ's Bizi Baza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Genaro Asur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Everardo Oxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Lawrence in the 37th minute of play. KяαdivÄch3 FC's Obidimkpa Amokachi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Anselmo Cordero in the 39 minute of the game. After 43 played minutes KяαdivÄch3 FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Vistruario. The Black StarZ fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Black StarZ's Bizi Baza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Virgilio Lawrence made a kick off. In the 51st minute of the game Anselmo Cordero made a throw-in which Anselmo Cordero played forward. KяαdivÄch3 FC's Fernando Arenas was substituted for Virgilio Lawrence. If Bizi Baza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the game, Black StarZ's Damaso Montes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genaro Asur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. After 77 minutes of play, KяαdivÄch3 FC's Fernando Arenas made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Everardo Oxel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernando Arenas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Everardo Oxel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Arenas in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Everardo Oxel saved Black StarZ from getting behind. Black StarZ's Everardo Oxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Cubero in the 86th minute of play. After some careless play in the Black StarZ defense, Fabian Cubero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Everardo Oxel. The Black StarZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Everardo Oxel should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black StarZ's goalkeeper Everardo Oxel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Black StarZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ruperto Edorta was slow to take the kick. During this time KяαdivÄch3 FC's players had a chance to rest. Ruperto Edorta made a great header on KяαdivÄch3 FC's corner, it was just that Black StarZ's Everardo Oxel managed to reach the ball for a save. Black StarZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
