Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Cristofor in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genaro Sindo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Loco Cabezon getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Rogelio Abajas hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Enrique Cristofor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genaro Sindo was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Loco Cabezon's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jose Eleder in the 18th minute. In the 18th minute Rodolfo Ieltxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Sindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute Rogelio Abajas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Sindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Galtero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Benedetto in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of La Cienaga booed when Loco Cabezon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Boni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loco Cabezon's Leonides Galtero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Loco Cabezon from getting a goal against them. Modesto Boni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genaro Sindo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Leonides Galtero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radamel-Falcao García in the 34th minute. When Loco Cabezon's Rogelio Abajas in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Cienaga's goalie prevented a goal. Leonides Galtero came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by La Cienaga's Alonzo Botello. But to his dismay, Alonzo Botello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Loco Cabezon's Enrique Cristofor got a free kick in the 40th minute. Aquilino Gartzea hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes Loco Cabezon got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Perico. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rogelio Abajas to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Loco Cabezon's Genaro Sindo threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rogelio Abajas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 55 minutes into the match, Loco Cabezon's goal looked a bit too open when Radamel-Falcao García came free, but Leonides Galtero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loco Cabezon's Leonides Galtero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Botello in the 59th minute of play. La Cienaga's Dario Benedetto managed to work through Loco Cabezon's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Dario Benedetto dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Modesto Boni came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Genaro Sindo could save by the left post. Dario Benedetto scored 2-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonides Galtero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of La Cienaga booed when Loco Cabezon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Ieltxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Benedetto in the 71st minute of play forced Loco Cabezon's goalkeeper Leonides Galtero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Galtero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Botello, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute Alonzo Botello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Galtero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Galtero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Botello, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute, Jacinto Mincho had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Enrique Cristofor's late challenge caught a La Cienaga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Cristofor helped the player get up and apologised. Leonides Galtero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Benedetto, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Genaro Sindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Abajas in the 91st minute of the match. Leonides Galtero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Benedetto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the La Cienaga players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
