La Cienaga's Genaro Sindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Borja in the 3rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Higinio Porfiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 6 minutes of play, LA MAQUINA F.C's Carlos Alberto Pernambucano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Borja in the 12th minute of play forced La Cienaga's goalkeeper Genaro Sindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14thth minute of the game Dario Benedetto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LA MAQUINA F.C's Higinio Porfiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute Loco Borja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Sindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute Jacinto Mincho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, LA MAQUINA F.C's goalkeeper Higinio Porfiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radamel-Falcao García. LA MAQUINA F.C's Rigoberto Turi got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Genaro Sindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Turi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rigoberto Turi took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Genaro Sindo. Genaro Sindo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 45th minute, Radamel-Falcao García hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rigoberto Turi might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genaro Sindo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rigoberto Turi ran back to his position shaking his head.

Genaro Sindo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loco Borja in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Alonzo Botello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LA MAQUINA F.C's Higinio Romero was substituted for Valentin Makovskiy. Alonzo Botello hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes LA MAQUINA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Santo Colas. The supporters of La Cienaga booed when LA MAQUINA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Colas didn't get a good kick on the ball. LA MAQUINA F.C's Edgard Nahia was substituted for Joel Min. Rigoberto Turi kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, La Cienaga's Apolo Mel got a free kick in the 65th minute. Genaro Sindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Turi in the 66th minute of the match. Loco Borja didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to La Cienaga getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Aquilino Gartzea hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, La Cienaga's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Turi came free, but Genaro Sindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. La Cienaga fully deserved thier win.
