Rodolfo Cordeiro started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Pero in the 5th minute of play forced Santa Maradona's goalkeeper Jonathan Errapel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Santa Maradona's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Donostia came free, but Jonathan Errapel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 13 minutes, Wen Song Qian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZAFIRO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wen Song Qian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Pero in the 15th minute of play. Jonathan Errapel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Pero in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Marco Pero notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Santa Maradona's Jonathan Errapel. Jonathan Errapel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marco Pero hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Marco Pero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Errapel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 35th minute Marco Pero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Errapel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Cordeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Armando Paredes made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, ZAFIRO FC's Marco Pero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Errapel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Alejandro Sanchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Armando Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Transito in the 51st minute of play. After 54 minutes, Marco Pero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZAFIRO FC and the Santa Maradona players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Santa Maradona booed when ZAFIRO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Pero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Pero took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Errapel. Jonathan Errapel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodolfo Cordeiro in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Paredes saved ZAFIRO FC from getting behind. Miguel Transito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Errapel came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by ZAFIRO FC's Marco Pero. But to his dismay, Marco Pero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 84 minutes into the match, Miguel Transito notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of ZAFIRO FC's Armando Paredes. Armando Paredes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ZAFIRO FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
