Gaby Milito's goal looked a bit too open when Viorel Bordeianu came free, but Pablo Caballero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Caballero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viorel Bordeianu's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Everardo Toro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Martin Cayo made a huge save. If Roque Ciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. River Super Club's Viorel Bordeianu got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Viorel Bordeianu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Codruț Daria threw the ball into play from the sideline. C.A. Gaby Milito's Edelmiro Loi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 30th minute, Roque Ciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 32 played minutes River Super Club got a freekick which was hit by Codruț Daria. Viorel Bordeianu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pablo Caballero having to make a save. Martin Cayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Ciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The throw-in from Bruno Artaldo in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.A. Gaby Milito's Edelmiro Loi. Martin Cayo made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Edelmiro Loi sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viorel Bordeianu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Martin Cayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Ciano in the 53rd minute of play. When Roque Ciano fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Gaby Milito's protests and gave Roque Ciano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of River Super Club booed when C.A. Gaby Milito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Ciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Örjan Tingelholm kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 76 minutes, Arnaldo Tanio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Gaby Milito and the River Super Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to C.A. Gaby Milito getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Arnaldo Tanio hit a great ball. Codruț Daria fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 79th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. When Neymar Juniors came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the River Super Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neymar Juniors couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Valentin Fagildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. River Super Club's Patricio Filipo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Valentin Fagildo in the 91 minute of the game. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
