After 6 played minutes, SAN JOSE FUTBOL CLUB's Daniel Sundgren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Narciso Napier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SAN JOSE FUTBOL CLUB reached it. Narciso Napier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Pueblo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Anibal Gergori's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julián Atarrabi was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Narciso Napier came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by SAN JOSE FUTBOL CLUB's Lisandro Montes. But to his dismay, Lisandro Montes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 34 minutes of play, SAN JOSE FUTBOL CLUB's Lisandro Montes made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Narciso Napier was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the game, Ramon Robres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lomas de Zamora FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAN JOSE FUTBOL CLUB the free kick. A collision led to Lomas de Zamora FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ramon Robres hit a great ball. Narciso Napier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lisandro Montes went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 45 minutes into the match, Lomas de Zamora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Imre Uudevald came free, but Narciso Napier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

After a rather tough play, SAN JOSE FUTBOL CLUB's Arnaldo Baumar got a free kick in the 50th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Montes got free with Narciso Napier in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lomas de Zamora FC's goalkeeper Narciso Napier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th minute, SAN JOSE FUTBOL CLUB's Lisandro Montes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Narciso Napier. Narciso Napier yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Arnaldo Baumar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Napier having to interfere. Lisandro Montes took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Narciso Napier. Narciso Napier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 73rd minute, Saturnino Txordon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the game, Imre Uudevald threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lomas de Zamora FC's Camilo Balbi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Thanks to some nice moves Imre Uudevald could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Narciso Napier however easily saved by the left post. Lisandro Montes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Narciso Napier came out and tried to block the shot, but Lisandro Montes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 84th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Lomas de Zamora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Montes came free, but Narciso Napier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Napier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Montes, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After some careless play in the Lomas de Zamora FC defense, Lisandro Montes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Narciso Napier. The Lomas de Zamora FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Narciso Napier should have stopped the shot. SAN JOSE FUTBOL CLUB played a much better game than Lomas de Zamora FC and deserved their victory. The Lomas de Zamora FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
