Evaristo Elorri tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Atilano Esiquio. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 4th minute. In the 9th minute, Carlos Teves reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cristobal Evarado. The goal made the score 1-1. Cristobal Evarado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Teves in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the match, La Guardia Imperial's goal looked a bit too open when Aurèle Banks came free, but Atilano Esiquio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Guardia Imperial's Atilano Esiquio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nati De Negri in the 16th minute of play. Atilano Esiquio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Bieito in the 20th minute of play. Carlos Teves struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Cristobal Evarado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Guardia Imperial. Carlos Teves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Cristobal Evarado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Guardia Imperial's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcial Abaunza in the 30th minute. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Carlos Teves put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cristobal Evarado. La Guardia Imperial's Atilano Esiquio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nati De Negri in the 35th minute of play. Bernardo Laurin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 44 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of La Guardia Imperial:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Squadron Pancho 95:s goal. La Guardia Imperial:s Atilano Esiquio showed great skill when he stopped Marcelo Bieito:s penalty. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcial Abaunza to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Squadron Pancho 95's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Carlovich came free, but Cristobal Evarado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Guardia Imperial's attentive Guillermo Dolcet managed to snatch the ball when Antonio Francesco made a throw-in in the 61st minute of the game. In the 63rd minute Florencio Txaran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Esiquio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gogo Eneas hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Gogo Eneas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Guardia Imperial's Marcial Abaunza got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 78 minutes, Amado Abascal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Squadron Pancho 95's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Abascal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristobal Evarado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Carlovich in the 82nd minute of the match. Nati De Negri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Esiquio having to interfere. Antonio Francesco got a throw-in 89 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gogo Eneas. Marcial Abaunza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The La Guardia Imperial fans cheered their team off the field, for while Squadron Pancho 95 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
