An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Tipular in the 22nd minute of play forced La Marea Roja FC's goalkeeper Julio Cibran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Raimundo Urtungo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nofre Colillas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cristobal Elija could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Nofre Colillas made a huge save. Nofre Colillas made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Marcus Ottens sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maria Teresa made a kick off. Maria Teresa charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maria Teresa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maria Teresa dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Raimundo Urtungo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Julio Cibran managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Canalla de Rosario's Teodoro Cheche fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
