La Guardia Imperial's attentive Francisco Sayveon managed to snatch the ball when Vinicio Silvanito made a throw-in in the 4th minute of the game. 4 minutes into the match, Francisco Sayveon notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Viento Norte FC's Dalmacio Gelacio. Dalmacio Gelacio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 7th minute, Carlos Teves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dalmacio Gelacio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, La Guardia Imperial's Carlos Teves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dalmacio Gelacio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Atilano Esiquio managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Viento Norte FC's Radomir Marczyniec fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 21st minute Viento Norte FC were awarded a corner. Marciano Azeari went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Marciano Azeari got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Atilano Esiquio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 22ndth minute of the game Radomir Marczyniec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Guardia Imperial's Atilano Esiquio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Viento Norte FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marciano Azeari in the 23rd minute. Viento Norte FC's Marciano Azeari was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Atilano Esiquio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Viento Norte FC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Gelacio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atilano Esiquio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juliano Macena in the 29th minute. After 35 minutes, Carlos Teves made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Viento Norte FC's Dalmacio Gelacio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Atilano Esiquio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomir Marczyniec in the 39th minute of the match. Carlos Teves might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dalmacio Gelacio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Teves ran back to his position shaking his head. Radomir Marczyniec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Atilano Esiquio made a huge save. Atilano Esiquio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Marczyniec in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Teves was the one to do the kick off. Dalmacio Gelacio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Teves's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Viento Norte FC's Vinicio Silvanito got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the match, Viento Norte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Teves came free, but Dalmacio Gelacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Teves might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dalmacio Gelacio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Teves ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, La Guardia Imperial's Dalmacio Gelacio threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Teves, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 59 minutes into the match, La Guardia Imperial's Carlos Teves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dalmacio Gelacio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Radomir Marczyniec's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atilano Esiquio was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Viento Norte FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marciano Azeari in the 64th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Radomir Marczyniec heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 67 minutes into the match, Viento Norte FC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Gelacio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Teves. Dalmacio Gelacio had great luck who in the 70thth minute grab hold of the ball when Carlos Teves from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. La Guardia Imperial's Atilano Esiquio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomir Marczyniec in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Guardia Imperial's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marciano Azeari was slow to take the kick. During this time Viento Norte FC's players had a chance to rest. The Viento Norte FC fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Viento Norte FC's Bruno Sugar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Teves in the 84th minute of play forced Viento Norte FC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Gelacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalmacio Gelacio came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by La Guardia Imperial's Carlos Teves. But to his dismay, Carlos Teves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Radomir Marczyniec took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Atilano Esiquio. Atilano Esiquio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radomir Marczyniec in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atilano Esiquio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. La Guardia Imperial's Atilano Esiquio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomir Marczyniec in the 94th minute of play. Atilano Esiquio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Marczyniec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Viento Norte FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching La Guardia Imperial's performance. The match ended with a win for La Guardia Imperial.
